Doors and windows
If your doors or windows are stiff, they’ll loosen up with use.
You can use a lubricant if needed.
Stop tap
Your stop tap is used to turn off the mains water if you have a leak,
so make sure to turn this off first before calling us. It’s also a good
idea to check it regularly to make sure it works.
Fuse box
Your fuse box, or consumer unit, controls your home’s electrical
circuits. If a switch trips, turn off the appliance and try flicking the
switch back to the on position. If it keeps happening, you can
unplug your appliances and try again, making sure to turn all the
lights or appliances back on one by one. If the problem still persits
make sure to contact us so we can investigate further.
Keys & fobs
Replacement keys or fobs are available, but they do come with a
charge, so it’s probably a good idea to consider keeping a spare
set of keys with a trusted person in case of emergencies. If you
lose your keys, and can’t access a spare, you’ll need to arrange for
the locks to be changed. You can contact a locksmith or contact us
for an appointment(which unfortunately we do have to charge for).
Cooker installations
You’ll need to get a certified
professional to install your
cooker to make sure it works
properly and doesn’t pose
any hazards.
